Riyadh Air Signs Global Distribution Partnership with Amadeus: Supporting Vision 2030
Saudi Arabia’s new digital native airline, Riyadh Air, has signed a strategic distribution agreement with Amadeus to expand its global reach. The deal was announced during FTE Global – the “CES of Aviation” – held in Long Beach, California, from 9–11 September 2025.
This partnership will allow Riyadh Air to access one of the largest global networks through travel agencies, supporting the airline’s ambitious Vision 2030 goals.
Global Reach and Growth:
Through the Amadeus Travel Platform, Riyadh Air will connect with agencies in over 190 countries, making Saudi Arabia a more accessible and attractive destination for international tourists. This strategy will also contribute to the Kingdom’s leadership in aviation and tourism.
Statements from Officials:
Vincent Coste, Riyadh Air’s Chief Commercial Officer, stated, “Our partnership with Amadeus provides us with the global reach and retail capabilities to support our goal of flying to over 100 destinations by 2030. This will not only deliver seamless travel experiences but also contribute to economic diversification and tourism growth.”
Maher Koubaa, Executive Vice President and Managing Director EMEA at Amadeus Travel, said, “The launch of Riyadh Air marks a major milestone for the Kingdom’s aviation sector. Amadeus provides advanced retail and data-driven tools that will help Riyadh Air make an impact globally. We are proud to contribute to Vision 2030.”
Enhanced Capabilities:
Under the agreement, Amadeus will also distribute Riyadh Air’s NDC (New Distribution Capability) content. This will enable the airline to offer passengers more dynamic and personalized options while giving it greater control over its indirect sales strategy.
Event and Sessions:
At FTE Global, Amadeus Senior Vice President Jean François (Jeff) Lennon will participate in the session “Enhancing Digital Identity and Frictionless Travel” to share insights on digital solutions in aviation.
