SATS subsidiary TFK Corporation announced that it has signed a three-year in-flight catering contract with Turkish Airlines, starting from October 2025.
Under the agreement, SATS TFK will provide daily in-flight meal services for Turkish Airlines flights between Narita International Airport – Istanbul and Tokyo Haneda Airport – Istanbul. All meals will be prepared in SATS TFK’s certified facilities in accordance with halal standards.
Operational Milestone in Japan
The company states that this contract represents a significant milestone for its food solutions operations in Japan and reflects an expanding collaboration with one of Europe’s leading carriers.
Founded in 1959, SATS TFK operates as one of Japan’s largest in-flight catering companies, running modern production facilities at Haneda and Narita airports.
Stanley Goh, CEO of SATS Food Solutions, commented on the contract:
“This agreement with Turkish Airlines is a testament to SATS TFK’s operational excellence and our ability to meet the rigorous standards of international carriers, delivering high-quality in-flight meals across a wide range of authentic Asian and international cuisines safely, consistently, and at scale.”
Following the announcement of the contract, SATS shares closed at $3.34 on November 21, down 1.475%.
