Bremen Airport adds extra flights to Palma de Mallorca, London Stansted, and Antalya for the Christmas and New Year holidays. Increased capacity with Ryanair and SunExpress offers more options for holidaymakers and family visits.

Bremen Airport is responding to rising passenger demand during the Christmas and New Year holiday season by scheduling extra flights to Palma de Mallorca, London Stansted, and Antalya. Ryanair and SunExpress will provide additional capacity for holidaymakers and family travelers.

Ryanair and SunExpress Extra Flights

Ryanair is expanding its service to popular destinations by adding seven additional flights from Bremen to Palma de Mallorca. Additionally, four extra flights are being added to the already daily service to London Stansted.

SunExpress is completing its winter schedule with four extra flights to Antalya, one of Turkey’s most popular holiday destinations.

Dr. Marc Cezanne, General Manager of Bremen Airport, said:

“These expansions reflect our close and reliable collaboration with our partner airlines. The additional departures confirm the recovery and upward trend in the regional air transport sector. The revival and expansion of routes by low-cost carriers like Ryanair play a key role in our growth strategy, which increased passenger numbers by 4% in 2024, reaching 1.89 million.”

Airport Location and Capacity

As one of Europe’s key aviation and aerospace hubs, Bremen Airport stands out with a passenger capacity of 13 million and connections to six international centers, including Frankfurt, Munich, Istanbul, Amsterdam, Zurich, and Vienna.
