PIA and THY Expand Cooperation on European Routes
Pakistan International Airlines is restructuring its codeshare agreement with Turkish Airlines in order to expand its European flight network. Within the scope of the plan, which will come into effect at the start of the 2026 summer season, two new European routes will be included in the agreement, while a previously suspended route will also be restarted.
According to the plan, the flights will enter into force on March 29, 2026.
Istanbul–Amsterdam Route Back Under Codeshare
Within the scope of the new arrangement, the Istanbul–Amsterdam route will once again be included in the codeshare agreement.
It was stated that the codeshare application on the Amsterdam route has been suspended since December 2024, but will be reactivated with the new planning.
Istanbul–Bologna Route Also Included in the Agreement
Another new route included in the expanded cooperation is the Istanbul–Bologna route.
Bologna flights will also be offered under the codeshare agreement and these flights will be operated by Turkish Airlines.
Thanks to this arrangement, Pakistan International Airlines passengers will have increased connection options within Europe.
