The long-standing defence cooperation between Embraer and the Netherlands has advanced to a new level through strategic new partnerships. Within the scope of the Industrial Participation Agreement conducted with the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, Embraer has signed new agreements with TNO, OPT/NET and ILIAS, further enhancing its alignment and integration with the Dutch defence industry ecosystem.
Under the new partnership, Embraer and TNO will collaborate on multi-agent systems and advanced data management solutions to support surveillance missions and enhance operational awareness. The cooperation with OPT/NET focuses on applying artificial intelligence–based technologies to strengthen decision-support processes in complex military operations. ILIAS will contribute by providing real-time, integrated data solutions for fleet management to support operational agility.
Atech, a subsidiary of Embraer, will reinforce the technological infrastructure of these initiatives with its expertise in mission-critical systems, command-and-control solutions, and intelligence data analysis. Atech will make significant contributions to the integration of innovative defence technologies in joint projects developed with TNO and OPT/NET.
Jan Christiaan Dicke, Commissioner for Military Production at the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, shared the following assessment regarding the cooperation:
