Dubai-based airline flydubai has announced that it has signed an important agreement with GE Aerospace (NYSE: GE) during the Dubai Airshow. Under the agreement, GE Aerospace’s advanced SaaS flight operations software solutions, Safety Insight and FlightPulse, will be extensively used across the flydubai fleet. This new integration aims to enhance the airline’s operations through a data-driven approach, elevating flight safety and operational efficiency to the next level.
Safety Insight provides comprehensive analytical indicators that enable the rapid identification of potential safety risks within flight operations. FlightPulse, on the other hand, provides flydubai pilots with real-time performance data, helping them make safer, more efficient and more effective flight decisions. Operating flights to more than 135 destinations in 57 countries, flydubai strengthens its innovative approach that shapes regional aviation technologies with this new collaboration.

Developed by GE Aerospace’s SaaS team and used by more than 60,000 pilots worldwide, FlightPulse has attracted attention by increasing its user base by 156% since 2022. The application helps pilots analyse their take-off, approach and landing performance to ensure safer and optimised flights.
