Jet2 flight LS775, traveling from Edinburgh to Alicante, was forced to divert to London Stansted Airport due to a medical emergency on board. Airline officials confirmed that the pilot changed course after a medical issue was reported during the flight.
The plane took off from Edinburgh Airport at 07:26 local time and diverted to London at 08:28, about an hour after departure. Passengers were originally expected to land in Alicante around 11:30. However, due to the medical emergency and the diversion, the timing for the flight’s resumption remains unclear.
Jet2 representatives assured that all necessary precautions were taken for passenger safety, explaining that the diversion to Stansted was carried out as a result of the incident.
