Milas-Bodrum Airport welcomed the start of a new season with Jet2.com’s inaugural flight from Liverpool. Operated by TAV Airports, the airport enthusiastically greeted the beginning of Jet2.com’s flights to Bodrum.
With the LS3211 flight operated by Jet2.com’s B738 aircraft, 154 British passengers arrived in Bodrum. Passengers were warmly welcomed at the terminal with flowers and greetings. Jet2.com will operate reciprocal flights to 11 different destinations from Milas-Bodrum Airport throughout the season.
In the first quarter of 2024, the airport served 28,216 passengers on international routes, marking a 17% increase compared to the same period last year. The total number of passengers increased by 15% compared to the same period last year, reaching 249,716.
Jet2.com’s flights to Bodrum include popular destinations such as Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, and Stansted. The company aims to operate a total of 793 flights throughout the season, which will last until November 3.
Milas-Bodrum Airport has become one of Turkey’s important tourism hubs, serving 71 different destinations in 36 countries with a total of 51 airlines. The increases seen in the first quarter of the year further solidify the airport’s strong position in the international arena.
