Following recent attacks on Lebanon, Iran has taken a significant security measure regarding air travel. According to this new regulation, all electronic communication devices, except mobile phones, will be prohibited on passenger flights.
Increased Security Measures for Flights
Ja’far Yazerlu, spokesperson for Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization, announced that a new ban has been imposed to ensure flight safety. Yazerlu stated that radios, pagers, and other electronic communication devices, except for mobile phones, are now banned from passenger planes. The decision extends to both the cabin and cargo sections of the aircraft.
Warning to Passengers: Do Not Carry Banned Devices on Flights
Yazerlu warned passengers planning to travel by plane, emphasizing that prohibited devices should not be brought on board. He urged passengers to refrain from attempting to carry these banned items in either the cabin or cargo areas of the plane.
