With this figure, Istanbul surpassed Europe’s largest aviation centers, including Paris Charles de Gaulle and Frankfurt.
Istanbul Airport Becomes Europe’s Largest Aircraft Base
According to the research, Istanbul Airport ranked first in Europe with 423 based aircraft. Paris Charles de Gaulle ranked second with 308 aircraft, followed by Frankfurt Airport in third place with 301 aircraft.
