A privately owned Robinson R44 helicopter crashed in the Bardym Municipality area of Perm Krai, resulting in the deaths of two people.

According to aviation news reports, the helicopter is said to have crashed after striking power lines during the flight.

In a statement, it was said:

“According to preliminary information, the aircraft took off from the Aşatlı Park recreation centre… During the flight, the helicopter struck power lines.”

Rostransnadzor stated that the agency’s Interregional Territorial Administration (ITA) for the Volga Federal District is collecting and analysing a series of important data.

“In particular, they are examining the helicopter’s technical condition, the meteorological conditions at the time of the incident, the crew’s qualifications, as well as compliance with aircraft operating regulations and flight management,” it was said.

The ministry stated that the results of the investigation would be announced at a later date. A private two-seat helicopter crashed at the Aşatlı Park recreation centre in the Bardymsky District of Perm Region. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, it was announced that two people, the pilot and one passenger, lost their lives in the accident.
