The meeting, held before Costa’s flight, focused on the future of the global aviation industry, sustainable growth objectives, and cooperation opportunities between Türkiye and Europe from the perspective of the aviation sector.

In a statement shared on his social media account, İGA CEO Selahattin Bilgen said he was pleased to host European Council President Antonio Costa at Istanbul Airport.
Bilgen stated that the meeting covered the future of the global aviation industry, sustainable growth policies, and the existing potential for economic and commercial cooperation between Europe and Türkiye.
