The International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF) will kick off in Istanbul on 22 July. Recognised as one of the leading global events in the defence sector, the fair will be held under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, and in coordination with the Ministry of National Defence, the Presidency of Defence Industries, and the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation.
This year marks the 17th edition of the event, which will run from 22 to 27 July, bringing together all stakeholders in the defence sector at the Istanbul Expo Center, Atatürk Airport, WOW Hotel, and Ataköy Marina simultaneously.
Comprehensive Showcases: From Armoured Vehicles to UAVs and Missile Systems to Electronic Warfare
IDEF 2025 will feature the most advanced products and solutions of the defence industry, including armoured combat vehicles, tactical armoured platforms, unmanned land, air and sea systems, missile technologies, electronic warfare systems, military simulators, and explosive ordnance disposal equipment.
Hundreds of domestic and international companies are expected to participate, with numerous strategic cooperation agreements and signing ceremonies anticipated. IDEF is once again projected to be a key platform shaping commercial diplomacy in the defence arena.
Record Participation in 2023
The 16th edition of IDEF, held in July 2023 in Istanbul, saw record-breaking participation with 1,238 companies from 51 countries and delegations from 169 organisations. This year’s edition is expected to host even more international representatives and unveil a wide range of next-generation technologies.
