Record in Defense and Aerospace Industry Exports: 97.3% Increase in August
Turkey’s defense and aerospace industry increased its exports by 97.3% in August 2025, reaching $834 million. During the January–August period, total exports amounted to $5.418 billion.
Record Growth and Eight-Month Performance
Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, President of the Defence Industry, evaluated the latest export figures. He stated that with the historic increase recorded in August, total exports in the first eight months of the year rose by 45% compared to the previous year.

“As the Defence Industry Presidency, we are working to ensure the sustainability of exports through international collaborations and high-technology-based products. We will collectively advance this chain of success, from main contractors to SMEs. We will continue working day and night to achieve the targets set by our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
