Turkish Airlines (THY) announced that, within the scope of fuel planning, a technical stop will be implemented in Cancun, Mexico, on Havana–Istanbul flights.

The measure is considered a temporary precaution linked to the current fuel supply problem in Cuba.

Spanish Carriers to Stop in Santo Domingo

Spain-based Iberia and Air Europa have also made changes to their Havana–Madrid flights.

Both airlines announced that they will make technical stops for refuelling in Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic.

Air Canada Suspends Flights

Canadian airline Air Canada announced that it has temporarily suspended its flights to Cuba due to the fuel shortage.
