As part of its digital transformation strategy, Corendon Airlines has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with aviation technology company Optifly. With this partnership, the company will integrate next-generation planning and slot management solutions into its operations.
Under the agreement, Corendon Airlines is preparing to use Optifly’s Schedule & Slot Management solution (OptiSched, OptiSlots and OptiAI). With this step, the company will become the first airline to use this technology.
With the integration of the new system, it is aimed to make the company’s planning processes faster, more transparent and data-driven. At the same time, operational flexibility will be increased through a scalable network management approach.
In the aviation industry, schedule planning and slot management are of critical importance in terms of operational efficiency, especially at congested airports. With digitalisation, airlines are turning to AI-supported solutions to develop more flexible and faster decision-making processes.
This investment by Corendon Airlines will enable more efficient management of flight networks that are focused on holidays and experience seasonal peaks.

Thomas Weimann, Head of Network Planning & Scheduling at Corendon Airlines, stated in his remarks regarding the partnership that thanks to the new platform, schedule changes can be implemented more quickly and different scenarios can be analysed effectively.
Optifly’s CCO Daniel Mulcahy emphasised that Corendon’s business model stands out in the sector and stated that holiday-focused airlines need flexible planning systems.
With the new system:
- Advanced reporting tools will be used
- Slot management capability will be enhanced
- Operational risks will be reduced
- Commercial network performance will be strengthened
This strategic partnership between Corendon Airlines and Optifly demonstrates the current state of digitalisation in aviation. The new structure, supported by AI-driven planning solutions, may make a significant contribution to the company’s sustainable growth targets.
