Corendon Airlines Offers Athletes a Unique Experience at the 12th Salomon Cappadocia Ultra-Trail®

Celebrating its 20th year in the skies, Corendon Airlines continues to contribute to the development of sports through sponsorships in various disciplines. The company, which actively supports both individual athletes and team sports, has been a co-sponsor of the Salomon Cappadocia Ultra-Trail®—an event featuring world-renowned athletes and numerous runners from Turkey—since 2021.

A Unique Running Experience in a UNESCO Heritage Site

The event, held on trails surrounded by Cappadocia’s extraordinary natural beauty and historic sites, offers runners a chance to experience history up close across distances of 119K, 63K, 38K, and 14K. Thousands of local and international athletes will have the opportunity to run around the iconic fairy chimneys.

Corendon Airlines provides direct flights from Hannover, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Nuremberg, and Rotterdam to Kayseri, facilitating access to the event. On the course, the airline offers special stations and areas to meet athletes’ needs. Team Corendon Will Compete in Cappadocia

The 60-member Team Corendon running team, established over the past 10 years, will once again take part in the race across Cappadocia’s unparalleled valleys, connecting Europe and the world with Turkey through sports.

Ultra Party and Surprise Gifts

The event, taking place from 17–19 October 2025, will feature a live performance by DJ David Şaboy, giving athletes and spectators an unforgettable weekend experience. Additionally, male and female winners of the 119 km race will be awarded surprise prizes, including round-trip flights and a 2-night stay at Corendon Hotels & Resorts.

Familiar Faces on the Cappadocia Trails

Well-known figures from international marathons and road races—Ece Vahapoğlu, one of Turkey’s first professional female triathletes Bahar Saygılı, and Fatih Topçu, who promotes sports through digital platforms—will join Team Corendon on the Cappadocia course.
