Contour Airlines is expanding its Caribbean network with a new nonstop route linking Douglas-Charles Airport (DOM) in Dominica and Piarco International Airport (POS) in Trinidad and Tobago.
Launching Oct. 5, 2026, the twice-weekly service will provide a direct connection between the two islands while also providing one-stop, same-plane service between Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (SJU) in San Juan and POS as well as between Cyril E. King Airport (STT) in St. Thomas.

The new flights are expected to strengthen regional connectivity and improve access for leisure and business travelers.
“We are excited to continue expanding our Caribbean network with the addition of nonstop service between Dominica and Trinidad & Tobago,” said Ben Munson, President of Contour Airlines, in a media statement. “This route strengthens connectivity within the Eastern Caribbean by making travel more convenient for residents, businesses and visitors alike.”
Officials in Dominica say the new service also supports the destination’s growing tourism industry by making it easier for travelers from Trinidad to experience the island’s outdoor adventures, wellness offerings and cultural events.
“This direct jet service to Trinidad upgrades the visitor experience by offering greater comfort, speed and reliability,” said Denise Charles-Pemberton, Dominica’s Minister of Tourism, in a media statement. “Trinidad is a great market for Dominica’s tourism sector. We are particularly excited about the strong appeal this route holds for nature enthusiasts and festival lovers from Trinidad.”
Flights will operate aboard Contour’s 30-seat regional jets, featuring extra legroom, complimentary snacks and inflight service.
