BookingAgora has unveiled its new B2B travel platform, developed following a two-year R&D process. The new system offers digital solutions for airlines and travel agencies.
Serving tourism professionals in 47 countries, BookingAgora introduced its completely renewed technology infrastructure, developed after nearly two years of R&D and software development, to its airline partners at a special launch event held at Crowne Plaza Istanbul Florya by IHG. While the new platform offers a faster, smarter, and more integrated working ecosystem for travel agencies and airlines, it also provides a strong foundation for BookingAgora’s international growth objectives.
Operating in the field of travel technologies, BookingAgora introduced its next-generation B2B travel platform, developed after nearly two years of R&D and software development, to industry professionals during a pre-launch event held at Crowne Plaza Istanbul Florya by IHG. Representatives of airline companies that are BookingAgora’s business partners attended the event.
The programme began with the opening speech by Metin Kışçı, General Manager of Crowne Plaza Istanbul Florya by IHG. Kışçı expressed his satisfaction at hosting key stakeholders of the tourism industry at the same event and emphasized the importance of industry collaborations. Speaking afterwards, BookingAgora Co-Founder Murat Kahraman stated that the new platform represents not only a technological transformation but also one of the company’s most significant investments for its future vision: “This project, which we have been working on for nearly two years, has become one of the most important investments shaping BookingAgora’s future. Our goal was not simply to develop a faster reservation system. We have created a next-generation working infrastructure that brings travel agencies and airlines together within the same ecosystem, enabling the management of all processes from reservation to after-sales services through a single platform. Today, we are delighted to share this transformation with our airline partners for the first time.”

A Completely New Technology Infrastructure Has Been Developed
BookingAgora Co-Founder Kadri Ciga shared details about the platform’s technical infrastructure and development process: “Travel technologies have been changing very rapidly in recent years. NDC, API-based services, real-time data management, and dynamic pricing have now become the industry’s core standards. Instead of improving the existing system, we chose to develop an entirely new technology platform.” Stating that the entire software architecture of the platform was redesigned during the nearly two-year development process, Ciga continued: “Our platform has been built on a modern and scalable software architecture. Thanks to the next-generation search engine, significantly higher performance has been achieved, while real-time pricing and availability management have substantially improved the user experience. NDC and XML integrations have been restructured, advanced filtering options, management screens, and reporting infrastructure have been developed. Thanks to the new mobile-compatible interface, our users will enjoy a much faster and more efficient working experience.”
Speaking about the user experience offered by the new platform, Ciga added: “Through our platform, users will be able to compare different airlines much more easily and view fare rules more transparently. Additional services such as baggage, seat selection, and meals can be purchased both during and after the reservation process. In addition, after-sales transactions such as ticket changes, cancellations, refunds, and date changes can be managed quickly and easily by users. Our platform will not be limited to airline tickets; it will also provide hotels, transfers, car rentals, package tours, and visa services within the same ecosystem, offering travel agencies an end-to-end service.”

The New Platform Will Form the Foundation for Global Growth
Noting that BookingAgora currently operates in 47 countries, Co-Founder Murat Kahraman said the new technology infrastructure would accelerate the company’s international growth: “The new platform not only enables us to provide faster services but also gives us the capacity to manage much larger transaction volumes. This will allow us to expand into new markets more rapidly, integrate more airlines into our system, and develop much stronger collaborations with our international business partners.” Kahraman stated that in the new period, they aim to increase collaborations with NDC connections, global network carriers, low-cost airlines, and international travel agencies, adding that BookingAgora will continue its growth on a global scale.
It Will Contribute to the Digital Transformation of Airlines
Evaluating the technological advantages that the new platform will provide to airlines, Kadri Ciga explained that the system will offer significant benefits not only for travel agencies but also for airlines: “Our new platform supports the complete presentation of NDC content, more effective sales of Branded Fare products, and the increase of ancillary service revenues. Thanks to real-time pricing accuracy, advanced after-sales management, and a strong integration infrastructure, the operational processes of both airlines and travel agencies will become much more efficient. We designed the technology not only for today’s needs but also to support the future of the industry.”

Our Goal Is to Grow Together and Add Value to the Industry
In his closing remarks at the launch, Murat Kahraman emphasized that BookingAgora aims not only for its own growth but also for the growth of all its business partners: “We position ourselves not merely as a distribution channel but as a technology partner supporting the digital transformation of the travel industry. If we can contribute to making our airlines, travel agencies, and all our business partners work more efficiently, we will consider that our greatest achievement.” Kahraman concluded his remarks as follows: “On this journey that we began nearly two years ago, we did not only develop a new platform; we built BookingAgora’s growth vision for the years ahead. Our goal is to become a Turkish travel technology brand that reaches more countries, brings together more airlines and travel agencies within the same ecosystem, and competes on a global scale. We believe that as our business partners grow, we will grow as well. Therefore, we design every technology we develop not only for BookingAgora but also for the success of all the stakeholders we work with.”
