THY Expands Its Flight Network in 2026
Turkish Airlines General Manager Bilal Ekşi announced the new destinations planned to be launched in 2026. In a post shared on his social media account, Ekşi stated that new destinations across different continents will be added to the airline’s flight network as part of its global growth strategy.
In his post, Ekşi emphasised that THY continues to expand its global connectivity network and said, “We are adding new destinations to our flight network in 2026 as well.”
THY’s New Destinations Announced
According to the announcement, Turkish Airlines will add the following cities to its flight network in 2026:
- Yerevan – Armenia
- Timișoara – Romania
- Monrovia – Liberia
- Bissau – Guinea-Bissau
- Chengdu – China
- Urumqi – China
With these new routes, THY’s flight network in Europe, Africa and Asia will expand even further.

In his statement, Bilal Ekşi also drew attention to Turkish Airlines’ significant global achievement. Ekşi used the following words:
“We are further strengthening our title as the airline flying to the most countries in the world.”
THY aims to expand its international connectivity network by opening new destinations, particularly in the African and Asian markets.
