Analysis: Deepening from Russia’s Regional Cities to Antalya

Aeroflot’s Perm route shows that the traditional Moscow and St. Petersburg-centered traffic model is being expanded. In particular, increasing direct flights from mid-sized Russian cities:

  • Facilitates access to Antalya
  • Reduces dependency on charter flights
  • Strengthens individual travel demand

It also demonstrates that Türkiye aims to grow in the Russian market not only in volume but also in geographical diversity. Antalya’s position as a primary destination for Russian tourists is becoming even more prominent with such new routes.
