Aman is heading to South Korea for the first time with Aman Seoul, a new ultra-luxury hotel planned for Cheongdam.
The project, announced in partnership with global asset management and developer Shinsegae Property, will combine a hotel with a limited collection of Aman-branded residences and a global Aman Club, creating a fully integrated Aman destination in the heart of Seoul’s Gangnam district.
Set in Cheongdam with views overlooking the Han River, Aman Seoul is being designed as an urban retreat that gives travelers access to Seoul’s fashion, beauty, design, technology and cultural scenes while maintaining the privacy and residential feel associated with the Aman brand.
The property will feature suites and public spaces influenced by Korean spatial traditions and materials, with minimalist contemporary interiors intended to connect the project to its Seoul setting. Separate arrival sequences and entrances will give the hotel, residences and Aman Club distinct identities and added privacy.
Wellness will be a major component of the new property, with dedicated spa and wellness facilities spanning multiple floors. Aman Seoul will also feature a food and beverage program that includes Aman dining concepts.
The private Aman Club will add another layer to the development, with its own pool, fitness facilities and social spaces for members and residence owners.
Aman Seoul expands the brand’s growing portfolio of urban properties, following Aman Tokyo, Aman New York and Aman Nai Lert Bangkok. Other announced projects include Aman Beverly Hills, Aman Miami Beach, Aman Dubai and Aman Singapore.
