Bodrum-Milas Airport, one of Europe’s busiest hubs for private jet traffic, is hosting a major international collaboration. Swiss AMAC Aerospace, one of the world’s leading companies in private jet maintenance, repair, and VIP cabin design, has signed a significant partnership agreement with Airbus Corporate Jets (ACJ) as part of its steps to expand operations in Bodrum.
Set to commission its $100 million new hangar in 2026, AMAC has, through this agreement, made the Bodrum facility the newest member of ACJ’s global Service Centre Network.

Signed at Dubai Airshow 2025
The strategic collaboration was announced during the Dubai Airshow 2025 in the United Arab Emirates. Under the agreement, AMAC Aerospace’s Bodrum facility is authorized to offer ACJ aircraft operators:
- Maintenance and engineering services
- VIP cabin refurbishment and completions
- Aircraft modernization and upgrade works
ACJ President Chadi Saade stated that including Bodrum in the service network reflects “ACJ’s goal of providing high-quality support to operators in key regions.”
“A Milestone for Our Turkey Facility”
Kadri Muhiddin, Chairman of the Executive Board and CEO of AMAC Aerospace Group, highlighted that the agreement marks a historic step for the company’s Turkey operations, saying:
“This approval is a milestone for our Bodrum facility. Joining the service network will allow both AMAC and Airbus to maximize customer satisfaction. From our location in Turkey, we aim to provide higher satisfaction for both operators and aircraft owners.”

Employment in Bodrum to Expand: 120 New Hires
AMAC Aerospace is rapidly expanding its operations in Turkey through hangar investments in Istanbul and Bodrum. The $100 million new facility, built on a 32,000-square-meter area at Milas-Bodrum Airport, will employ more than 120 people once completed.
While Bodrum’s position in the private jet ecosystem is being strengthened, the new agreement is expected to make Turkey’s aviation maintenance and repair (MRO) capacity more visible on the international stage.
