AJet is starting renovation works on the CIP Lounge at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport on April 3. The new concept lounge is planned to be opened in 2026.
Renovation Works Begin on April 3
As part of its efforts to enhance passenger comfort, AJet has decided to renovate the CIP Lounge located at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport.
According to the company’s statement, following the works that will begin on April 3, the lounge is planned to be put into service with its new concept within 2026.
The Lounge Will Be Redesigned for Domestic and International Flights
Within the scope of the renovation process, the CIP Lounge will be completely reorganized from top to bottom. It was stated that in the new concept, the lounge will be designed to consist of separate areas for domestic and international passengers.

Fast Track and Digital Services Will Be Offered
Passengers will be provided with fast track access in the renovated lounge. It was reported that passport control points and e-passport gates will be available especially for international passengers.
In addition, within the scope of digital transformation, paperless ground handling applications will be implemented, and check-in processes will be carried out via kiosks.
A Comfortable Waiting Area Will Be Provided for Passengers
Comfortable areas will be created in the CIP Lounge where passengers can spend time before their flights. In the lounge, where self-service food and beverage services will be offered, there will also be duty free shopping opportunities.
Improving the Passenger Experience Is Targeted
With this renovation project initiated by AJet, it is aimed to make the airport experience faster, more digital, and more comfortable.
