AJet’s Third Boeing 737-8 MAX Aircraft Comes to Turkey
As part of its fleet expansion plan, AJet’s third Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft, registered as TC-OHD, has completed the delivery process. The plane, departing from the factory in Seattle, USA, made a refuelling stop in Edinburgh before continuing to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport.
New Additions to AJet’s Fleet
Having recently added its second Boeing 737-8 MAX with registration TC-OHB to the fleet, AJet has quickly reached its third delivery. Following TC-OHD, the Boeing 737-8 MAX registered as TC-OHC is also expected to arrive in Istanbul in the coming days.
10 New Aircraft by Year-End
The company aims to add nearly 10 more factory-new Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft to its fleet by the end of the year. Once cabin fittings and seat installations are completed, these aircraft will begin operating on scheduled flights.
2026 Goal: 200 Aircraft, 238 New Destinations
AJet’s first factory-new aircraft, TC-OHA, was delivered to Istanbul on August 9. With the acceleration of the delivery process, the majority of the fleet is expected to consist of new-generation aircraft by summer 2026. The company’s long-term goal is to reach a fleet of 200 aircraft and 238 new destinations.
