Turkey’s youngest airline, AJet, has begun direct flights from Istanbul to Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, one of the major cities in the Middle East. The first flight from Sabiha Gökçen Airport to Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport took place on December 2nd.
AJet Now Flies to Beirut from Three Cities
AJet, which already operates flights from Ankara and Adana to Beirut, launched its Istanbul-Beirut route with a flight on December 2, 2025. After a 1-hour 45-minute journey, the plane was ceremoniously welcomed at Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport. AJet and airport senior management attended the ceremony.
AJet will operate daily flights from Istanbul to Beirut, one of the significant cities in the Middle East, known for its rich history, multicultural structure, and gastronomy.
Expanding its flight network resolutely across Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia, and North Africa, AJet’s new route will contribute to the development of tourism and trade potential between the two countries.
