Two major aviation security meetings were held in Izmir from November 12 to 14, 2025, where European and global aviation security standards were addressed. At the 3rd Meeting of the Groupe ADP International Security Network and the 54th Meeting of the ACI Europe AVSEC Committee, critical topics such as security standards in the aviation industry, equipment policies, security culture, and operational compliance were discussed.
Turgay Şahan Appointed as Chairman of the Security Committee
During the meetings, Turgay Şahan, General Manager of TAV Security, was appointed as the Chairman of the Security Committee established within Groupe ADP. After his appointment, Şahan stated, “I would like to thank the committee members. With over 20 years of experience in the aviation field, TAV Security provides services in line with international standards. Hosting such important meetings is highly significant for us.”

At the Groupe ADP International Security Network meetings, leading aviation organizations such as ADP, TAV, GMR, and AIG gathered. During the discussions, important exchanges were made regarding the establishment of common security standards in the aviation sector and the strengthening of operational coordination. Such collaborations play a crucial role in the implementation of global security standards and in meeting the future security needs of the aviation industry.
