AJet has added 6 new Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft to its fleet within the last month. While the company’s number of next-generation aircraft has risen to 24, it aims for 76 percent of its fleet to consist of next-generation aircraft by the end of 2026.
As part of its growth strategy, AJet continues to expand its fleet with next-generation aircraft. By incorporating 6 factory-new Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft into its fleet within the last month, the company has entered a new phase in its capacity growth and operational efficiency targets.
New deliveries transferred from Seattle to Türkiye
The aircraft bearing the registrations TC-OHP, TC-VFB, TC-VFF, TC-VFG, TC-OHY and TC-OHV were transferred from Seattle to Türkiye after the completion of their delivery processes.
Some of the aircraft, whose cabin equipment and seat installation procedures were completed, have already started operating scheduled flights within a short period of time. As a result, AJet has further increased its capacity flexibility, particularly in domestic and short-to-medium-haul international operations.
Number of next-generation aircraft in the fleet rises to 24
With the latest deliveries, the number of factory-new Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft added to the AJet fleet since August 2025 has reached 24.
Investments in next-generation aircraft carry strategic importance for airlines not only in terms of capacity growth, but also for fuel savings, reducing carbon emissions and lowering operational costs. Compared to previous-generation aircraft, the Boeing 737-8 MAX offers lower fuel consumption and longer range advantages.
Boeing and Airbus deliveries to continue in 2026
AJet’s fleet growth plan will not be limited to Boeing orders alone. Throughout 2026, the company will continue adding next-generation aircraft produced by both Boeing and Airbus to its fleet.
According to year-end targets, 76 percent of the AJet fleet is planned to consist of next-generation aircraft. This transformation will strengthen the company’s young fleet structure while also contributing to achieving a competitive cost advantage.
The increasing passenger demand in Türkiye’s aviation sector and the expansion of regional flight networks are directing carriers toward more modern and efficient fleets. AJet’s accelerating aircraft investments have also clearly demonstrated the company’s growth targets in the market.
