Corendon Tahtalı Run To Sky 2026: The Legendary Race Begins at the Summit of Türkiye

Türkiye’s toughest high-altitude mountain run, the Corendon Tahtalı Run To Sky, will soar into the skies for the 12th time in 2026. Combining history, mythology and nature, the race will this year debut the 43 km Phaselis Run course, offering athletes an unforgettable experience.

Taking place from 8–10 May 2026, the event will bring together hundreds of local and international athletes to test themselves on challenging routes stretching “from sea to sky.” Registration opened on 1 September 2025 and will remain available until May 2026. Runners who sign up between 1–15 September will benefit from early-bird advantages.

A Route Where History, Mythology and Nature Intertwine

The course begins in Kemer’s unique natural setting, starting at Çıralı Beach. Participants take their first steps alongside endangered caretta carettas before passing through the eternal flames of Yanartaş.

One of the key highlights of the race is the ancient city of Phaselis, where its historic harbours and theatre take runners on a journey through time. The most challenging stage towards the summit is Mount Tahtalı, also known as Mount Olympos/Zeus. Regarded in mythology as the home of Zeus, this peak transforms into a legendary experience with panoramic views over the Taurus Mountains.

New Courses for 2026

• KemeRun (12 km, 370 m+): A fun route from Kemer town centre to Çalıştepe.

• Run To Sky (27 km, 2,650 m+): Türkiye’s first skyrunning course, stretching from Çıralı to the Tahtalı summit.

• Phaselis Run (43 km, 1,261 m+): A brand-new experience immersed in history within the atmosphere of the ancient city.

Türkiye on the World Stage

Last year, the race was included in the Skyrunner® World Series calendar and welcomed nearly 500 athletes from 25 countries. The participation of world champions renowned for their international success further enhanced the prestige of the Corendon Tahtalı Run To Sky.
