A Ryanair flight from Milan to London was forced to make an emergency landing in Paris due to the unusual behaviour of some passengers. The incident occurred during the flight, which lasted around 15–20 minutes.
According to reports in the British press, one passenger began tearing pages from their passport and eating them. Meanwhile, another passenger tried to throw their passport into the toilet. These actions created an atmosphere of panic in the cabin.
The flight crew quickly intervened, attempting to calm the passengers involved. However, despite all efforts, the crisis could not be brought under control, and the captain decided to divert the plane to Paris for safety reasons.
Upon landing in Paris, French authorities detained the two passengers who had attempted to destroy their passports. The incident has been recorded as one of the unusual cases that threatened flight safety.
