TUSAŞ (Turkish Aerospace Industries), for the first time, will deploy its domestically developed platforms in an exercise. The ANKA and AKSUNGUR unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), along with the T129 ATAK attack and tactical reconnaissance helicopter, will be joined by the HÜRJET jet training aircraft, HÜRKUŞ basic training aircraft, and GÖKBEY general-purpose helicopter in this exercise.
EFES-2024 Exercise: The Region’s Largest Joint Combined Exercise
The EFES-2024 Exercise, the largest joint combined exercise of the Turkish Armed Forces in the Aegean Region, will be attended by numerous domestic and foreign observers. The exercise will take place at the Seferihisar firing range from May 23 to May 30.
Participation with a Wide Range of Products by TUSAŞ
TUSAŞ will showcase a wide range of products in the exercise. A one-to-one scale model of the ANKA UAV will be displayed. Additionally, 1/7 scale models of the KAAN national combat aircraft, ANKA III combat UAV system, HÜRJET jet training aircraft, and T929 ATAK II helicopter will also be showcased at the exercise area.
Display of Strength: Following President Erdogan’s Speech
Following President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s speech at the exercise area on May 30th, the aircraft developed at TUSAŞ facilities will perform a flyover. The HÜRJET jet training aircraft, T625 GÖKBEY general-purpose helicopter, and HÜRKUŞ basic training aircraft are recognized as some of Turkey’s significant export successes, adding value to the country.
