Turkish Airlines (THY) has undertaken a significant organisational change in line with a decision made by the Executive Committee, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and strengthening the corporate structure. With newly established units and updated job descriptions, senior-level appointments have been made.
New Departments and Structural Adjustments
The notable changes announced in THY’s corporate structure are as follows:
- The Vice Presidency of Operational Expense Control has been established as a new senior-level department.
- Under this vice presidency, the Airport and Overflight Expense Control Directorate has been formed.
- The Catering Payments Directorate, previously operating under the Catering and In-Flight Products Presidency, has been expanded in scope, restructured as the Catering and Fuel Expense Control Directorate, and linked to the new vice presidency.
- The Handling Fee Accrual and Control Directorate under the Ground Operations Presidency has been reorganised as the Handling and Crew Layover Expense Control Directorate and placed under the Vice Presidency of Operational Expense Control.
