A Turkish Airlines (THY) flight from Istanbul to Gazipaşa was unexpectedly diverted to Antalya Airport. The aircraft changed its landing route for unknown reasons and, after a prolonged wait in Antalya, safely landed at Gazipaşa Airport.
Boeing 737 Makes Emergency Landing in Antalya
The Boeing 737 aircraft, registered as TC-JHN, departed from Istanbul Airport and was originally scheduled to land at Alanya Gazipaşa Airport. However, during the flight, a decision was made to divert the aircraft to Antalya Airport.
According to aviation-related social media sources, the plane landed safely in Antalya and remained on the ground for an extended period. Following the delay, the aircraft took off again and successfully reached its intended destination at Gazipaşa Airport.
