Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles has partnered with utu, a Singapore-based travel technology company. Through this collaboration, they have joined the list of international airline loyalty programs, offering passengers a 40% tax refund advantage.
Sanjay Chinchwade, Commercial Director of Partnerships at utu, stated their aim to provide passengers with the best value for overseas shopping. He emphasized that through this partnership, Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles members can enjoy their travels even more by collecting bonus Miles from tax-free purchases.
Arif Ali Gezmişoğlu, Marketing Director of Turkish Airlines, highlighted that this partnership with utu aims to offer Miles&Smiles members more value during their journeys and transform their tax-free shopping experiences. This collaboration is seen as part of Turkish Airlines’ commitment to providing passengers with a more rewarding experience.
Miles&Smiles members can earn flight miles worth $125 for every $100 spent using utu Tax Free Cards for shopping abroad. This advantage will be even greater for Turkish Airlines’ Classic Plus, Elite, and Elite Plus Miles&Smiles members. utu will also provide automatic “status matching” for Turkish Airlines’ premium members, offering up to a 40% increase in flight miles.
