Turkish Airlines (THY) has decided to suspend all flights to Beirut following an airstrike by Israel. The aftermath of the attacks has left Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport in a state of deep silence, with many countries urging their citizens to leave Beirut immediately.
In addition to flights to Beirut, flights to Iran, Jordan, Iraq, and Lebanon have also been canceled. This decision was made due to security concerns and increasing tensions in the region.
The Israeli airstrike targeted the Huhreyk neighborhood in southern Beirut, where Hezbollah’s Shura Council is located. The attack resulted in three deaths and 74 injuries. One of Hezbollah’s senior commanders, Fuad Shukr, survived the attack.
