It was reported that an SF-260D type training aircraft crashed in the Hasan Arpa neighborhood of the Kocasinan district in Kayseri. The aircraft was stated to be used for initial training. However, no information was provided regarding the crew’s health status. The MSB announced that search and rescue operations were initiated following the crash. Teams in the area quickly began working to assess the condition of the crew and examine the wreckage.

In a statement made by the Kayseri Governorship, it was noted that an SF-260D type training aircraft belonging to the Air Force Command, which took off from the 12th Main Air Transport Base Command in Kayseri around 10:00 AM on Tuesday, crashed near the Hasanarpa neighborhood of the Kocasinan district for reasons yet unknown. Additionally, the statement indicated that search and rescue operations had been initiated and, unfortunately, the two military personnel (pilots) on board were martyred.
