Antalya, Turkey’s rising star in tourism, achieved a historic milestone on July 12, 2025. A total of 100,646 foreign tourists entered the country via Antalya Airport and Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport, marking the highest daily number of July arrivals recorded in the past five years.
“The Goal Isn’t Just Records — It’s Long-Term Success”
Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy stated on social media that this achievement was the result of strategic tourism planning and international marketing efforts. “We are not only focused on breaking records, but also on a sustainable tourism vision,” he said, highlighting long-term goals.
The Minister noted that the all-time daily tourist arrival record of 102,755 set in August 2024 was now within close reach and added that Antalya’s global appeal continues to grow. He emphasised that this upward trend is not temporary and that they are working with all stakeholders in the sector to ensure lasting success.
