Turkish Airlines (THY) has begun the delivery process for its 1,000-unit housing project in Adıyaman, undertaken in response to the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes. Constructed in İndere by Emlak Konut under the directives of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the homes were completed with THY’s financial support and are now being handed over to rightful owners.

Safe and Modern Living Spaces for Earthquake Victims

THY Chairman of the Board and Executive Committee, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat, emphasized that the project not only provides shelter but also offers modern living conditions with infrastructure and social facilities. Bolat stated, “With this project, we aimed to provide earthquake victims with safe and comfortable living spaces while also contributing to the region’s reconstruction. The start of the handover process brings us great joy.”

Emlak Konut’s Around-the-Clock Efforts

Emlak Konut GYO General Manager Yasir Yılmaz also commented on the project, saying, “A massive mobilization was launched in the region after the earthquake. THY’s 1,000-unit donation project is of great importance in this context. Out of the 16,467 homes we have built in Adıyaman with donations collected through AFAD, 1,000 were realized with THY’s support. We are working tirelessly to deliver all the homes by the end of the year.”

Modern Neighborhood with Extensive Social Facilities

THY’s 1,000-unit housing project in Adıyaman was designed in line with modern urban living standards, covering a total area of 129,424 square meters. The neighborhood features:

• 47,352 square meters of social areas
• Tennis courts, basketball courts, and children’s playgrounds
• Infrastructure and landscaping designed to provide a contemporary living environment for earthquake survivors

This project, implemented in collaboration with THY and Emlak Konut, aims to meet the housing needs of Adıyaman residents while also contributing to the reconstruction of the region.
