Turkish Airlines, aiming to expand its global cargo network, has signed a three-year strategic partnership with SATS-owned Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) at Miami (MIA) and New York JFK airports.
The Istanbul-based global airline has entered into a new agreement with WFS for cargo and ground handling services to strengthen its operations in the United States. Effective from 17 July 2025 at Miami International Airport (MIA) and from 1 August 2025 at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), the deal will make a significant contribution to THY’s growing cargo network in North America.
Under the agreement, WFS will provide comprehensive cargo, mail handling, and ramp services at Building 707 in MIA. At JFK, cargo and ramp operations will be handled by WFS at Building 260.
54,000 Tonnes of Annual Cargo Operations
WFS will support Turkish Airlines in transporting approximately 18,250 tonnes annually from MIA with four flights per week, and about 36,000 tonnes from JFK with three flights per week. These operations will be conducted using THY’s A330F, B747F, and B777F freighter aircraft.

Service at 7 Locations in the US
This new agreement shows that WFS, which already serves THY at major hubs such as Boston (BOS), Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Seattle (SEA), Houston (IAH), and Washington Dulles (IAD), is now collaborating with Turkish Airlines at a total of seven stations in North America.
