Holland America Line has opened bookings for the first Zuiderdam sailings following the ship’s refurbishment as part of Holland America Evolution, the cruise line’s fleetwide investment program. The refreshed ship returns to service on April 2, 2028, in the Mediterranean before repositioning to Amsterdam for a summer season of Northern Europe and Iceland itineraries.
The program begins with open-jaw itineraries linking Rome, Barcelona and Lisbon, with calls in Livorno (Florence/Pisa), Marseille, Valencia, Malaga, Cadiz, Gibraltar and Tangier, before a 13-day voyage from Lisbon to Amsterdam featuring ports including Porto, Bilbao, Bordeaux, Paris, London, Cork and Dublin.
From Amsterdam, Zuiderdam will spend the summer sailing Norway, the British Isles and Iceland. Itineraries include Norwegian Fjords cruises with visits to Bergen, Oslo, Skjolden and Alesund, as well as longer voyages to the British Isles. The season also features sailings between Amsterdam and Reykjavík, calling at destinations in Iceland, the Shetland Islands and the Faroe Islands.

After homeporting in the Netherlands, our historic home, Zuiderdam continues on to Iceland and Greenland, tracing routes sailed by generations of explorers and mariners. It’s a collection of voyages that celebrates our heritage and the next chapter of this ship.”
