The New Long-Range Flight Route Between China and Mexico Has Been Opened

The direct flight route between Shenzhen city in China and the capital of Mexico, Mexico City, has been inaugurated, marking a new record in China’s civil aviation history. With a length of approximately 14,000 kilometers, this route has been recorded as the furthest non-stop commercial flight departing from China.

Operated twice a week with Airbus A350 aircraft, the flights are reported to have a duration of approximately 16 hours. It is noted that this route surpasses the previous 12,871-kilometer flight from Guangzhou to New York operated by China Southern Airlines.

Currently holding the title of the world’s longest non-stop flight is Singapore Airlines’ Singapore-New York route, covering a distance of 15,332 kilometers with a flight time of approximately 19 hours.
