One of Turkey’s leading technology companies, TAV Technologies, has started providing services at five airports in Santiago, Chile, and Panama. Specializing in aviation IT solutions, the company has expanded its global operations network to over 50 airports across more than 20 countries.
TAV Technologies, a subsidiary of TAV Airports specializing in airport IT solutions, is expanding its portfolio in the South American market. The company has begun operations at Santiago’s capital airport in Chile, and at Tocumen, Pacifico, Enrique Adolfo Jimenez, Scarlett Martinez, and Enrique Malek airports in Panama.
The signing ceremony held in Chile was attended by Nicolas Claude, CEO of Santiago Airport operator Nuevo Pudahuel, and Franck Mereyde, Member of the Executive Board and Chairman of the Executive Committee of TAV Airports. At the ceremony, TAV Technologies CEO Kerem Öztürk stated, “Our products and services, developed entirely with our own resources, are preferred by airport operators worldwide. With our experience, we support airports in their digital transformation journey. Our solutions focus on operational efficiency and passenger satisfaction. We are delighted to add the airports in Chile and Panama to our portfolio.”
Nicolas Claude, CEO of Santiago Nuevo Pudahuel, commented, “With this agreement, we are introducing new technologies to enhance our operations and provide better service to airlines and passengers.”
TAV Technologies, certified as an R&D center by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, has developed more than 40 software solutions with its own resources. At Santiago Airport in Chile, the company will implement resource management, real-time data sharing, airport operational database, slot coordination software for traffic management, and an integrated accounting application. In the Panamanian airports, TAV Technologies will provide operational information systems, collaborative decision-making applications, and passenger data processing systems.
Arturo Benitez Airport, the gateway to Santiago, Chile’s capital, served 23 million passengers last year. Tocumen Airport, serving Panama City, is the busiest hub in Central America, having handled 18 million passengers last year.
