Leading aviation officials from the Baltic region gathered at the Riga Aviation Forum. At the event, TAV Airports CEO Serkan Kaptan highlighted the role of public-private partnerships in airport development.
The Riga Aviation Forum (RAF) was held this year under the theme “The Future of Aviation in the Baltic Region.” Opening remarks were delivered by Latvian Minister of Transport Atis Švinka, TAV Airports CEO Serkan Kaptan, Latvian Civil Aviation Authority (LAA) CEO Zigmars Vestfals, and IATA Regional Vice President for Europe Raimonds Gruntis.
In his presentation, Serkan Kaptan underlined the significance of public-private partnership models in airport development projects, emphasising their contribution to the sustainable growth of aviation infrastructure.
TAV Airports Chief Commercial Officer and TAV Operation Services CEO Aude Ferrand shared recent developments in non-aviation operations. Together with ATU Duty Free CEO Ersan Arcan, Ferrand also took part as a speaker in the panel titled “Global Airport Development Models.”
The forum also hosted Havas Ground Handling Co. General Manager Mete Erna, along with representatives from TAV Latvia, ATU Duty Free, BTA Food & Services, TAV Operation Services, Havas Ground Handling Co., and TAV Technologies.
TAV Airports has been operating at RIX Riga Airport since 2010.
