SunExpress, a joint venture between Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, was honored with three awards at the 2024 International Safety Awards Ceremony organized by the British Safety Council. The airline received the Distinction Award, Sector Award, and Country’s Best Award.
SunExpress’s achievement of receiving the Distinction Award, Sector Award, and Country’s Best Award for the second consecutive year demonstrates its ongoing commitment to improving occupational health, safety, and well-being, and its adherence to international standards.
The British Safety Council, established in 1957, has been a trusted guide in managing occupational health, safety, and well-being for over sixty years. It runs campaigns to protect employees from accidents, hazards, and unsafe conditions while aiming to continuously improve these systems globally.
The winners of the 67th International Safety Awards, organized by the BSC, were announced at a special ceremony held in London, attended by over 700 representatives from international institutions and organizations.
