SunExpress has set the Euro/TL conversion rate to be used as the basis for salary calculations throughout 2026 at 63.75 TL. Employees have also been granted the right to waive the minimum exchange rate application.
SunExpress has updated the Euro/TL conversion rate to be used in salary calculations for 2026. According to the information communicated to employees by the company, an exchange rate of 1 Euro = 63.75 TL will be applied for the period from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026.
The announcement also introduced an important option for employees. Accordingly, employees who choose to waive the minimum Euro/TL application will have the opportunity to receive their salaries in Euros if the Euro/TL exchange rate falls below 63.75 TL.
With this practice, SunExpress is considered to be offering employees a more flexible salary model against exchange rate fluctuations and aiming to create alternative options for income planning.
