SunExpress is expanding its flights from the UK and Ireland to Turkey, offering British holidaymakers more options. Travellers will be able to fly to Turkey’s sunny destinations one-way for attractive fares starting at £48 (2,669.98 Turkish Lira).
New Routes and Flight Schedule
- East Midlands – Antalya: Three times a week
- London Gatwick – Bodrum: Twice a week
- Manchester – Bodrum: Twice a week
- Cork – Antalya: Twice a week
- Dublin – Dalaman: Twice a week
SunExpress’s Presence in the UK and Ireland
Founded in 1989 as a joint venture between Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines, SunExpress operates flights from 13 airports in the UK and Ireland. It offers low-cost and direct services through its bases at London Luton, Birmingham, and Manchester.
With this expansion, SunExpress will add 2 million seats to its capacity from the UK and Ireland, increasing the total number of routes to 30.
Popular Holiday Destinations
Both Antalya and Bodrum have become popular destinations for British travellers in recent years, thanks to their sunny climate, beaches, and affordable holidays. Antalya is located on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast in the southwest, while Bodrum stands out as one of the most attractive resort towns in the Aegean region.
The additional flights from SunExpress will increase travel options from the UK and Ireland to Turkey, making it easier for holidaymakers to plan their summer trips and boosting tourism activity in the region.
