TAT Technologies has signed a $12 million MRO contract for the GTCP331-500 APU used on Boeing 777 aircraft, strengthening its position in the APU market.

TAT Technologies Signs $12 Million Contract for APU MRO Services on Boeing 777 Aircraft

TAT Technologies, a leading supplier of products and services to the commercial and military aviation and land defense industries, has signed a new three-year contract with an international airline to provide maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services for the GTCP331-500 auxiliary power unit (APU) used on Boeing 777 aircraft. The total value of the agreement is $12 million, equivalent to an average annual revenue of $4 million.

Strong Position in the APU Market

TAT Technologies CEO Igal Zamir emphasized the importance of the contract:

The GTCP331-500 APU is a critical component that provides electrical power and environmental control systems for the Boeing 777 while on the ground. TAT Technologies’ expertise in this field, combined with rapid delivery times and high reliability, maximizes aircraft availability and operational efficiency for commercial operators.

Strategic Partnerships

Zamir also noted that ongoing strategic partnerships with Honeywell offer significant revenue opportunities for TAT. This new contract for the Boeing 777 platform demonstrates the company’s commitment to expanding market share and winning new business in both the commercial and military aviation segments.
