At Sky Express’s event in Istanbul, the airline’s flight network, passenger services and collaborations with Turkish Airlines were shared; new growth plans on the Turkey–Greece route were announced.
Tourism and aviation cooperation on the Turkey–Greece route is expanding
At the event held in Istanbul in cooperation with the Consulate General of Greece in Istanbul and Sky Express, the airline’s flight network, passenger services and international connection plans were shared with industry representatives. The organization presented concrete data on how the increasing passenger traffic between the two countries will be managed.
High-level participation
Konstantinos Koutras, Maria Rachmanidou, George Baliouskas, Aslı Erkan and Athina Kolyva attended the event. In the speeches, the growing role of the Turkish market for Greek tourism and the expansion potential of mutual mobility were discussed.
A flight network reaching 60 destinations
It was stated that Sky Express serves a total of 60 destinations with its operational network extending to 33 domestic and 27 international destinations. Thanks to the young structure of its fleet of 29 aircraft, the company offers flexible capacity for both frequency increases and new route launches.
This growth approach makes it possible to respond quickly to destinations where demand is concentrated, especially on short- and medium-haul flights.

Privileged services in passenger experience
The presentations also included the airline’s investments on the service side. It was shared that Sky Express operates four different passenger lounges active throughout the year across Greece. Within the scope of services in Istanbul, it was stated that lounge access, fast track and private meet-and-greet services are offered to passengers in cooperation with IGAPass.
This service package provides operational convenience, especially for time-sensitive passengers and the premium segment.
Revenue model with flexible cabin products
The airline’s cabin structure was also detailed. It was noted that different passenger expectations are met with a total of five different product options, including three in economy class and two in business class.
While this structure offers service packages that can be customized according to passenger needs, it has also become a model that increases revenue diversity for the airline.
Connected growth with Turkish Airlines
Sky Express conducts interline agreements with many airlines to expand its global reach. Within this scope, thanks to its cooperation with Turkish Airlines, passengers are provided access to a wider flight network.
The Turkish market at the center of growth
At the event, Greece’s tourism capacity and the trend of demand from Turkey were discussed. New collaborations and joint projects aimed at increasing air traffic between the two countries are planned.
The short-haul flight demand concentrated on the Aegean route lays the groundwork for this corridor to become even more active in terms of both tourism and business travel in the coming period.
