Following Damascus, AJet Arrives in Aleppo: Middle East Expansion Continues!

AJet has now launched direct flights to Aleppo following its initial route to Damascus. Istanbul–Aleppo flights will operate daily with round-trip service.

Türkiye’s youngest airline, AJet, continues to expand its flight network in the Middle East. After operating its first flight to Damascus on 1 July, the airline launched its inaugural direct flight from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport to Aleppo on Saturday, 2 August.

AJet’s flight VF340 landed at Aleppo International Airport after approximately two hours and was welcomed with the traditional water salute. The welcoming ceremony was attended by Syrian Civil Aviation officials, AJet executives, and airport representatives.

AJet General Manager Kerem Sarp made the following statement:

“Following Damascus, we have now launched our second route in Syria to Aleppo. We are pleased to add Aleppo—a city of great historical and cultural importance—to our flight network. This step will also contribute to meeting the transportation needs of the region during its reconstruction process.”

Daily Flights to Aleppo

AJet will operate direct flights between Istanbul and Aleppo daily. Services will be available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
