Russia Captures Ukraine’s New Jet-Powered Kamikaze Drone

Russia has captured and begun examining a newly developed jet-powered kamikaze drone from Ukraine. Dmitriy Kuzyakin, General Director of the Center for Complex Unmanned Solutions, stated that this new drone has the ability to accelerate when approaching air defense and electronic warfare zones.

Kuzyakin noted that the analysis of this drone, which was captured in the special military operation area, will significantly contribute to countering such threats. “We managed to study Ukraine’s kamikaze drone. This is a completely new design by the enemy. The drone is equipped with a jet engine, making it more valuable for shorter flight ranges. There are also advantages such as obtaining crucial data to counter this new threat,” he said.

Kuzyakin emphasized that they are not unaware of the enemy’s next steps, highlighting that analyzing each of these drones provides far more information than any agenda or captured drone operator.

Analysis of the Storm Shadow/SCALP Missile

Previously, engineers in the Russian army examined the control and guidance system components of the British-French made long-range Storm Shadow/SCALP missile. A Russian military engineer told Sputnik, “The comprehensive analysis of the downed Storm Shadow/SCALP missiles continues. Currently, all control components, including blocks, servos, flight control devices, and various structural elements, have been dismantled. This material ensures an objective control of the missile flight system and potential anti-aircraft defense systems to better combat these targets.”
